2012 List: Every car I drove this year
Continuing my douchey humblebrag list of cars I’ve driven in the past year, here is my list for 2012. Same disclaimer applies: some I drove for ten minutes, some for a week.
Up until just two-and-a-half years ago, the most powerful car I had ever driven had 315 horsepower (BMW M Coupe). Thanks to greater opportunities, and ever-soaring horsepower figures in this crazy age we live in, that number has been topped countless times in some unexpected ways. WTF happened to this Mercedes?
This is a couple years old, but it’s always fascinated me so I wanted to give it a more permanent place on the web. I was riding my shoddy bicycle on the upper west side of Manhattan in summer 2009 and came across this baffling Mercedes 300TD wagon. What happened? Why was it parallel parked here? And where did the piano that fell on it go?
An Uncharacteristic Look at My Worst Photos of 2011
I tend to shy away from this sort of thing, and avoid drawing attention to flaws. But posting some of my biggest mistakes and why I are could be interesting and may even help someone (hopefully me!).
